The project introduces a contemporary extension while maintaining a strong connection to the existing residence through warm brickwork, clean detailing and carefully considered proportions. The redesigned layout creates additional living space, improves the overall functionality of the home and introduces new openings to bring more natural light into the interior.
The exterior transformation balances the character of the existing Montréal residence with a more contemporary architectural language, resulting in a cohesive addition that feels integrated with the original home and its surroundings.
